We led the property acquisition, managed the tax strategy, managed the renovation, design all the interiors, developed the brand, built the website, design the menu, built the tech stack for distribution, curated the experience, and hired all the key staff.
A defunct mansion from 1876 in the heart of Savannah, GA that was collapsing under years of neglect, the Bellwether took the idea of a bed & breakfast and married it with a luxury hotel. The breakfast a full service restaurant marrying Indian and Southern cooking techniques exclusively for the guests prepared by a chef who had cooked for the Prince of Dubai. After the breakfast, the all-day full-service bar continues to churn out cocktails, mocktails, and tipplings with a 24/7 barista making craft coffee with in-house syrups. Then, the afternoon tea complete with a tower from our full-time pastry chef and teas from a local and responsible tea company. In the evening, a champagne sabering to celebrate the day with a glass on the house. Did we mention, everything is on the house. You only pay your nightly rate and get all of the food, service, and lattes you desire while staying in the largest and finest rooms in Savannah.
